‘Paradise of the Earth’, the state of Jammu & Kashmir is world famous for its scenic splendor, snow- capped mountains, plentiful wildlife, hospitable people and amazing local handicrafts. Srinagar is the largest city and capital of the state of Jammu & Kashmir.

It is a modern water world, dominated by the pristine Dal Lake and its twisting waterways, tree-lined Nagin Lake, and the Jhelum River. It has a number of sprawling & scenic gardens, shrines, mosques and numerous stunning sightseeing spots in close vicinity, like Gulmarg, Sonamarg, Pahalgam and Doodhpathri that leave you spellbound.

Trip Itinerary

Day 1- Srinagar arrival & local sightseeing

Our representative will pick you from Srinagar airport and you will be transferred to your hotel. Check in and relax
We shall take you to the famous Dal lake for an enchanting one hour of Shikara ride (traditional Kashmiri boat). It is one of the most incredible & relaxing aspects of a holiday in Kashmir with the most stunning views around.
We shall also take you for a tour of the Nishat gardens built on the eastern side of the Dal Lake. It is situated against the backdrop of the magnificent Zabarwan mountains and inspired by Persian architecture, it has 12 terraces decorated with different varieties of roses and other flowers and fountains. It is considered as one of the most iconic Mughal Garden and translates to ‘garden of joy
We shall also visit Chashme Shahi which is famous for its natural spring and sprawling gardens. Next, will be a visit to the Pari Mahal or the Angel’s Abode, which is a 7 terraced garden located at the top of the Zabarwan mountain range overlooking the Srinagar city and Dal Lake.
Later, visit the Shankaracharya temple dedicated to Lord Shiva and is situated at a height of 1,000 ft, offering one of the best panoramic views of the Srinagar city.
Evening at leisure followed by overnight stay and dinner at your hotel.

Day 02- Srinagar – Gulmarg (day trip)

After breakfast, visit Gulmarg which is a 1 hr drive from Srinagar
Gulmarg is one of the best skiing destinations of India. Nestled in the Pir Panjal Range, these sprawling green meadows with lush greenery, small lakes and a large variety of flowers offer the most splendid views. Enjoy the green meadows here, take a pony ride, sit back, try some adventure activities or take the Gulmarg Gondola.

Evening at leisure after return to Srinagar followed by overnight stay and dinner at your hotel.

Day 03 -Srinagar- Pahalgam

After breakfast, check out of your hotel in Srinagar and proceed towards Pahalgam which is another very popular tourist destination, just about 100 kms from Srinagar city by the Lidder River.
On the way, visit the ruins of Avantipura, and stop by the Apple orchards and take a short break sitting by the Lidder River
Reach Pahalgam, check into your hotel and rest.
Later we take you to the Baisaran valley and other points on pony on direct payment basis.
Overnight stay & dinner at hotel.

Day 04- Pahalgam local

After breakfast, we take you to Aru valley by transit cab. A very peaceful green grassland with a few inhabitants around and majestic views of the snow- capped mountains, this place will beckon you to stay back. The valley also serves as a base point for numerous treks.
From here, we take you to Betaab valley which is a very famous sightseeing spot. It is one of the most serene spots with a picture-perfect landscape.
We will next, take you to Chandanwari which is the starting point of the famous pilgrimage- Amarnath Yatra. It is famous for Chandanwari glacier and is a great spot to enjoy a sledge ride.
Evening at leisure after return to hotel followed by overnight stay and dinner at your hotel.

Day 05- Departure to Srinagar airport

After breakfast, check out and proceed towards the airport for departure. The Kashmir trip ends here
IMPORTANT – 5 N/6D and 6 N/ 7 day trip itineraries remain the same with added day trips to either to Sonamrg or Doodhpathri.
Evening at leisure after return to hotel followed by overnight stay and dinner at your hotel.

Certain sightseeing spots may not be covered due to bad weather or unsuitable conditions. There will be no refund in that case.
